9:45 AM – 10:45 Timing Factors ( the play clock, the 40 second clock, when to start and when to stop…other information from rules 1,2 and 3 are included with scenarios for discussion.

11:00 AM – 11:45 AM 5 man and 7 man mechanics. Emphasis on both dead ball and live ball positioning and coverage…techniques, signals and movements
Demonstrating holding and illegal blocks at various locations … proper signaling and administration.
11:45 AM – 12:30 PM Ratings, tournament selection, 5 man vs 7 man officiating,concerns about the officiating pool( are we losing, gaining or holding our own) and what is the MHSAA focusing on in regards to high school football.
LUNCH (ON SITE) 12:30 to 1:00 (provided by the sponsoring associations)
1:00 PM – 1:45 PM The Kicking and Passing game. A basic review of rules 6 and 7 with scenarios for discussion.
1:45 PM – 2:30 PM Scoring plays and touchbacks. A basic review of rules 8 and 9 with scenarios for discussion.
2:30 PM – 2:45 PM BREAK
2:45 PM – 3:45 PM Penalty Adminstration…” The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” A basic review of rule 10 with scenarios for discussion. Included are situations which, without a solid understanding, will “open the door” for faulty administration.
